Ethan Hartsell President Ethan Hartsell is the President of JMA Civil and brings a unique professional background and perspective to the AEP industry in Northern California with an emphasis on operations management, finance, and public project stakeholder engagement. His duties include supporting new business relationships, writing technical proposals, and leading the operations, quality systems, finance, tax, and human resources functions for the firm. Ethan has an intense focus on cultivating the client’s vision for transformative infrastructure. Recognizing the critical shortage of design talent in our region, he champions the growth of budding professionals in the industry, seeking to mentor promising engineers into project leadership roles. Prior to joining JMA, Ethan held a variety of executive and management positions with manufacturing and technology companies.
