Eco-Energy, Unit Train Facility Project

Eco-Energy is a producer and distributor of bioenergy fuels and holds tenancy at the Port of Stockton, CA. To increase capacity at the Port for their ethanol distribution, Eco-Energy proposed to construct a unit train facility and separately designed the rail layout, coordinating with Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) and Central California Traction Company (CCTC) for service.

JMA led the civil design for CEPACA’s Eco-Energy Unit Train Facility project at the Port, which included grading and drainage, utility design, and typical sections and site paving details, and permit support coordination. Additionally, JMA prepared an industrial SWPPP and provided construction support.  Construction was completed in the summer of 2022.
