JMA is a northern California-based civil engineering design and consulting firm specializing in transit and freight rail, industrial facility design and comprehensive site civil.

JMA’s primary mission on any project is to ensure that our client’s goals are fully realized while planning, designing, and constructing infrastructure that is functional, safe, and of high value. We dedicate ourselves to understanding the potentially wide range of needs on all projects and the evolution of those needs over time. JMA brings an experienced team with a long history of working together and a commitment to each project for its duration.

We believe in open communication and engaging project stakeholders in a collaborative fashion and take a fresh and organized approach to project management that includes detailed agendas and minutes for all meetings, crisply defined work assignments, and clear communication for action items and steps forward.
