JMA designed the site and rail layout, including final design, of the siding and spur tracks, mainline realignment and track for Thatcher’s new Glendive, Montana and Henderson, Nevada facilities. Additionally, JMA led 5 phases of improvements at Thatcher’s Sacramento facility, including full site design, process equipment and tank berms, rail loading and unloading stations and warehouse and administrative buildings. The initial scope of work included the site layout, utility and grading plans, evaluation and coordination of utility service to the site, structural engineering of the building slabs, and conceptual design of the rail layouts. With the completion of the site layout, JMA was contracted for the final design of the siding and spur tracks, main line realignment, and track grading and drainage.
