Allene Rieger, PE Quality Manager Allene Rieger has over 20 years of experience in the rail industry and is a leader in Railroad Organizations. She currently holds the Chair position of AREMA Committee 11 – Commuter and Intercity Rail, has authored multiple industry papers and has spoken at National Conferences on a variety of rail related subjects. Allene has extensive experience in rail design, railroad coordination, drainage design, permitting, and site development on rail projects through all stages of design, from concept to final design, including construction support. She has worked on numerous Class 1 Railroad Main Line, Industry, and Intermodal Terminal projects for BNSF, CSX, Norfolk Southern Railway, and Union Pacific Railroad in design and leadership roles. Allene has also worked on various Commuter and Transit projects for Amtrak, CCJPA, and a wide range of transit agencies nationally. Allene’s varied experience allows her to be comfortable with addressing many challenges across the entire rail spectrum. Allene’s typical project role is as Quality Manager, leading reviews of conceptual and final deliverables and ensuring that JMA meets all project requirements. Prior to joining the JMA team she was an Associate/AVP of TranSystems, a national transportation AEP firm, where she worked closely with Jon Marshall. During her 19 years with TranSystems, Allene worked on transit and freight railroad projects as a project manager, rail design lead and project engineer.
